G. Phillip Whitaker was born in the Bronx New York. He spent his early childhood in the famous area of Manhattan called Harlem. His family moved to suburbia in Teaneck, New Jersey where he would spend his formative years. His private school setting and the neighborhood in which he was reared provided stark contrasts. Gerald obtained his Graduate Degree from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NJ. He spent 20 years in the field of Information Technology as a corporate trainer. He is a business owner, social entrepreneur, Pastor, and avid golfer. He resides in New Jersey with his Wife Cheryl of 42 years and his son Gerell.
